My friend Cassie and I are officially on our way of publishing the next book of Hottest Hounds, “Hottest Hounds Tuscaloosa.” After three full days of shooting we are about halfway finished with the book! We are going to have one more day of all day shooting in a few weeks to finish it up! Here are just a few models from this weekend! Send me an email if you want to get your puppy in the book!
Hard to believe it was just about three months ago when I took some maternity pictures for the Beth and Brian Lowder! On January 6, sweet baby Conor Thomas Lowder was born! He came a little early, and I got to catch him on his 2 week birthday when I was in Bowling Green, KY! Here are just a few of my favorites of this little guy! Congrats to Beth and Brian! I hope to get to see you guys again real soon! Enjoy this sweet little face!
I had the best time getting to visit with this sweet little man yesterday! Its been WAY too long since I’ve seen Jack or his mama, Johannah! We got to catch up, and get a few quick shots of this cute little ONE YEAR OLD! I can’t believe he is already one! Seems like just yesterday that I was visiting them in the hospital to meet Jack when he was just a few hours old!! Jack’s parents became some of my absolute favorite people in the world in the seven (is that right??) years they lived in Birmingham. They are now living “back home” in Nashville. As much as it makes me miss them each time we get to visit, I am so happy to hear that they are in a place where everyone is IN LOVE with their sweet little boy, Jack!
(cute sidenote: Jack is wearing his dad’s overalls from when he was little in these pics!)

January 26, 2012 - 2:47 PMJohannah - Ann Wade, how you got ONE good photo of Jack when he was so miserable with a cold and wanting to be held the whole time, I'll never know! Oh that's right, it's because you are a miracle worker with your camera!!! Thank you for the priceless present of capturing Jack as he is right now!!!

Here are just a few quick favorites from Casey and Chris’ wedding last weekend in Birmingham. Stay tuned in a few days to see a slideshow of more from their awesome wedding day!
I didn’t have the pleasure of photographing this gorgeous bride’s wedding day, but I was so happy to be able to photograph her Bridal Portraits back in November. Erin got married last weekend, so I’m finally able to share some of these photos on my blog! Doesn’t she just look like a doll? Well, not only does she look like one, but she IS one! What a wonderfully delightful girl she is! I met Erin through one of my latest obsessions, Pure Barre. (She is an instructor!) Anyway, I hate that I wasn’t able to be a part of her wedding day, but I’m sure her photographer got some amazing photos! Congrats, Erin!
Here are a few shots from Emily and Matthew’s wedding last weekend in Dothan! I know it was an answered prayer that we had such incredible weather for their wedding day! Who would’ve thought we’d be lucky enough for 60s in January?!?! After getting into her dress, Emily walked down the aisle to see her groom before all the craziness of the day began! Emily surprised Matthew with a journal that she had been writing in since they began dating! What a wonderful gift! Emily and Matt’s bridal party were wonderful! Had a great time taking some fun pics with those groups. Each of their families could not have been more wonderful as well! The late afternoon ceremony was beautiful, followed by a fun reception at The Gathering Place. Guests enjoyed some wonderful food, beautiful cakes, and dancing provided by a great DJ! Congrats to Mr. and Mrs. Manley…your wedding was wonderful!
January 10, 2012 - 2:15 AMcathy Irvin - Ann Wade, thank you for making the trip to Dothan for Matt and Emily's wedding. Love the picture and looking forward to see the rest of them! ~ Cathy Irvin
I had the pleasure of photographing this sweet couple’s wedding back in 2008, and now Amber and Ryan are having a baby!! (any day now actually!) After having to reschedule many times, we finally got to meet up and get some sweet shots of the mom and dad-to-be! I can’t wait to meet Baby girl Adalynn!
This pretty girl from New York met this sweet guy from Alabama as they are finishing up their last year at the University of Alabama! After meeting through mutual friends, they immediately hit it off and were inseparable from the get go! After just a few months of dating, Andrew asked Kaytie to spend the rest of her life with him! I am excited to be photographing their wedding in May!
I got so caught up in photographing and editing everyone else’s Christmas cards that I didn’t get one out of my own! Hate to miss a year of torturing my poor dog in another costume! Instead she got to meet Santa this year! Merry Christmas from Ann Wade and Sadie!
Below are a few of my favorite shots from Michelle and Steve’s beautiful wedding last weekend at The Sonnet House. An absolutely perfect day! Michelle was one of those brides that I loved from our very first meeting, so “working” her wedding felt like I was just hanging out with friends in a sense! Michelle and Steve saw each other before the ceremony. I loved that when she tapped him on the shoulder to turn around, her first words to him were, “Hey best friend!” It was obvious by the way they were with each other throughout the entire day that they are genuinely each other’s very best friend! Romantic, and sweet, and just peaceful with these two! What an amazing couple! As always, it is truly a pleasure to shoot at The Sonnet House. It was shockingly warm for the end of December, so we were able to take full advantage of the beautiful venue! After looking at the still shots here, be sure to scroll all the way down to watch the wedding slideshow! I LOVED that Michelle had party hats and sunglasses for the guests to wear while they danced at the reception! Fun touch! Congrats to Mr. and Mrs. O’Neil…and best of luck in Virginia!
