I am always grateful when people choose me as their wedding photographer. Its a big responsibility, and one that I do not take lightly. There is always an excited anticipation for me every Saturday morning that I am photographing a wedding. 99.9% of the time everything about the day exceeds my expectations and makes me so very thankful that I have gotten to turn my passion into my career! Its been almost 14 years since I photographed my first wedding, and I can truly say that I still absolutely LOVE weddings and LOVE my job. (and I'm going to TRY to do better about keeping up with my blog this year!!)
Genny and Kohl could not have been a more perfect couple to start off the 2018 wedding season! Genny and I actually only got to meet once before the wedding day when I shot her bridal portraits, but I have known her mom for quite a few years through teaching at the YMCA. Knowing how awesome her mom is, I knew Genny would be great. She was not only stunning, but she was kind, warm, thankful, and so very happy on her wedding day. She married a sweet baseball player with a big, wonderful family (6 siblings!!) from Texas who were so much fun!! The ceremony was perfect, the trolly ride was rowdy, the weather was FREEZING, the bridal party was a blast, and the reception could not have been more fun! Thank you, Pittman and Stewart family for letting me share your day!
