Hottest Hounds Tuscaloosa!

My friend Cassie and I are officially on our way of publishing the next book of Hottest Hounds, “Hottest Hounds Tuscaloosa.” After three full days of shooting we are about halfway finished with the book! We are going to have one more day of all day shooting in a few weeks to finish it up! Here are just a few models from this weekend! Send me an email if you want to get your puppy in the book!

I got so caught up in photographing and editing everyone else’s Christmas cards that I didn’t get one out of my own! Hate to miss a year of torturing my poor dog in another costume! Instead she got to meet Santa this year! Merry Christmas from Ann Wade and Sadie!

Below are a few of my favorite shots from Michelle and Steve’s beautiful wedding last weekend at The Sonnet House. An absolutely perfect day! Michelle was one of those brides that I loved from our very first meeting, so “working” her wedding felt like I was just hanging out with friends in a sense! Michelle and Steve saw each other before the ceremony. I loved that when she tapped him on the shoulder to turn around, her first words to him were, “Hey best friend!” It was obvious by the way they were with each other throughout the entire day that they are genuinely each other’s very best friend! Romantic, and sweet, and just peaceful with these two! What an amazing couple! As always, it is truly a pleasure to shoot at The Sonnet House. It was shockingly warm for the end of December, so we were able to take full advantage of the beautiful venue! I LOVED that Michelle had party hats and sunglasses for the guests to wear while they danced at the reception! Fun touch! Congrats to Mr. and Mrs. O’Neil…and best of luck in Virginia!

I was so glad that Kaitlin and Ed asked me to take their Christmas card pictures again this year! I’ve actually gotten to see these two at quite a few weddings throughout the last year! I loved getting to catch up a little with these two! Even though we only had about 30 minutes, I think we still got some great shots! Here are a few of my favorites….

Hottest Hounds is almost here!

Next Friday night! 11.11.11. Come join us at ALoft and be the FIRST to see the Hottest Hounds book fresh off the press! Any and everyone who is interested is welcome! Cassie and I are going to do a TV interview about the book on Tuesday that I will share. (as long as I don’t look too ridiculous!) But for now, See our commercial being aired on the CW for the party!

“Grab your four legged friend and come out to the aloft Hotel in Homewood on Friday, November 11th at 7PM for the premiere of the Hottest Hounds in Birmingham. Come watch the Hottest Hounds walk the red carpet and pose for the “pupa-razzi”. There will be light appetizers, a cash bar and fabulous raffle prizes. And hot off the press, you can purchase your copy of the super fun coffee table book, The Hottest Hounds in Birmingham. 5% of the sale of each book will be donated to The Animal League of Birmingham.

The Animal League of Birmingham asks for a $10 donation per person at the door which will include entry to the party and one raffle ticket. Additional raffle tickets may be purchased for wonderful door prizes including tickets to the Region’s Tradition and the Indy Grand Prix of Alabama, along with items from Bromberg’s, the Veranda, and much, much more!!

The Hottest Hounds in Birmingham is a beautiful keep sake book that features some of Birmingham’s most fabulous pooches photographed at some of the hottest spots in the Magic City.”

SO…this is a long overdue post shout out for my awesome mom! Mary Jane Parrish has designed what she is calling a “Skite.” They are SO cute and perfect for the upcoming cooler weather. The whole idea is to be able to exercise in your Skite, and still feel cute while running errands afterwards. Its the “ultimate multi-tasker.” I am so proud of her and the business she has created! Mom and Dad are now based out of Santa Rosa Beach, but she has been selling these cute things all over the country! She has set up alot of “shows” at races, parties, and gyms all over…and she will be in Birmingham TOMORROW! The Mountain Brook YMCA is hosting a FREE Health and Wellness fair all day Wednesday. If you can’t make it to the Y, you can always purchase a Skite on her website, or find them on etsy.com as well!

(I hope my legs look like my moms when I’m her age!)
