My sweet friend Natalie married John last Saturday night in Atlanta! Natalie amazed me with her calm excitement all day long! She looked amazing in her wedding gown, and I absolutely loved her JCrew shoes!

I’ll be honest and say that I am not huge on flowers. The only flowers I can name when seen are roses (because I’m a female), lilies (my favorite), and snapdragons (because those were my favorite that my grandmother grew in her garden when I was little). Ok, so maybe I can recognize a few more since I’ve been working in the “wedding world” for almost five years. (yeah, wow! more on that crazy thought later…) But anyway, all of that to say that I have seen some of the most beautiful flowers in these last few weddings I’ve shot, and Natalie’s were amongst the top of that list!

The wedding coordinator talked about how great all the bridesmaids were that day…and I would have to agree! Everyone was so excited with Natalie, and very ready and willing to help her with anything she needed! Natalie isn’t usually one to enjoy being the enter of attention, so it was fun seeing everyone cater to her on her big day!

This sweet couple decided to see each other before the wedding. Luckily the rain held off for me again that day and allowed us to get some pretty outside shots around the church!

What a lovely bride, huh?? Pretty face next to those pretty flowers! Love it!

Their reception was held at the beautiful Athletic Club. There was a big golf tournament ending that evening, so we had quite an audience while we went out onto the golf course to get a few pretty shots on the green! Notice the fun new addition Natalie added to her hair for the reception…

I see plenty of brides give their husband the whole, “If you even think about smearing this on my face you will be sleeping alone tonight” look. If Natalie was giving it, John didn’t pick up on it because I have to say that this was the best cake-cramming-in-your-face job I have seen a groom do in a very long time! I’m pretty sure she had icing up her nose and down her dress…thats pretty impressive, John! And what was more impressive is how well Natalie handled it!

It was fun watching Natalie and John not only break it down with their friends on the dancefloor, but also with each other! Very fun party for everyone who stuck around until the end!

The guests threw beautiful rose petals before the couple hopped on their golf cart and waved goodbye!
