Corrie Hayes

My good friend, Corrie, got married on Saturday!  I had the privilege of being a bridesmaid, which meant I couldn’t be her photographer! I had a great time, but I am much more comfortable being on the other side of the camera! The picture above was taken of us at the end of her reception….after much dancing…the reason both of our hair is in ponytails!

Anyway, since I wasn’t able to be her photographer on the big day, I wanted to take their engagement pictures and her bridal portraits…because lets be honest, she’s pretty beautiful!

First of all, I have to tell you about this dress! It was inspired by the the dress Carrie wore on Sex in the City.   However, being the thrifty woman that Corrie is, she had someone in China make this dress for her for an incredible price! If any brides out there want details, let me know and I will pass along her info!  So we took Corrie in her cool dress and handmade veil (yep, she did that too!) down to Sloss Furnaces about a month ago to take some more artistic pics than the normal flowery pictures I tend to take! We had a great time and I was pretty pleased with the shots we got! I took almost 300, but these are a few of my favorites!
