What a great wedding with Lindsey and Joey! I shot their engagement pictures over a year ago, so it was fun to get to reunite with these two after so long! Lindsey found this beautiful chapel on top of a hill even before she met Joey, and she knew it was the spot she would get married one day. It was located in a fairly new subdivision called The Waters a few miles outside of the city.
I started the day with some bridal portraits of Lindsey. She looked awesome in her beautiful dress, and her bright blue eyes looked so pretty!

Joey and Lindsey had a moment to themselves in the chapel before the ceremony, and we were able to get some great photos of the two of them all around the chapel. Joey’s huge smile on his face when he saw his bride was pretty priceless!

Despite the heat of the day, the bride and groom, and the entire bridal party, were very cooperative with the outside photos! We stayed in the shade close to the chapel for the most part, but we did hike down to the lake to get one quick group shot of the whole bridal party.

I cannot post this picture without giving a shout out to my friend, and my favorite videographer buddy, Claus Martel. Once we trekked all the way down to the lake, I realized that I had left my big lense sitting on a chair in the chapel. Claus was standing next to me when I realized it, and before I could even ask, he was running about 100 yards back to the chapel to grab my lense for me!! The shorter lense would’ve been ok, but I was able to get exactly what I wanted with my other lense. I don’t know if there is another videographer out there who would’ve gone the extra mile for me like that…no, I’m positive no one else would have. Thanks, Claus. You’re the BEST!

The girls circled around the bride for a sweet prayer before the ceremony.

The beautiful ceremony was followed by an amazing reception held a few blocks down the road under a big, white tent on the lake. They had a fantastic band, and some really amazing food…including two things I have never seen before at a wedding…mini-pancakes and donut holes! Fun!

After the exciting cake cutting, the new couple, along with the guests enjoyed the great band on the dance floor!

The Bass’ live at the beach, so they decided to head to NYC for their honeymoon! Hope you guys had an awesome time!
