The Groom.

The Bride.

There are certain things that make weddings fun to shoot. Sometimes its an incredible venue. Sometimes its ideal weather. Sometimes its shooting in a place I’ve never been before. Sometimes (and only sometimes!) everything goes exactly according to the schedule I have planned. And sometimes, like last weekend, its the incredible people who make the wedding so wonderful!

Not only were the bride and groom amazing to work with, but the entire bridal party, AND their families were all a dream! Seriously. I almost didn’t even notice that it was over 100 degrees! (almost!) Mary Beth and Caleb were both incredibly calm all day, and every single one of the bridesmaids and groomsmen were so great! I just couldn’t have asked for a better group of people to work for!

Mary Beth made this cool journal for Caleb that she gave to him on Saturday. He had once said to her that he wished he could hear her thoughts…so once they got engaged, Mary Beth started a journal for him! SO sweet! (plus I loved that she used one of the engagement pictures I’d taken as the cover!)

This cute bride is from Texas, so the red cowboy boots were perfectly fitting! (and the socks were a present from her dad to complete the getup!)

Caleb’s little niece was quite a hit at the reception!

They had a great candy bar set up at the reception, with cute little stickers on the bags to put it in!

Out of all the ZTA weddings I’ve shot, these girls sang the song more beautifully than I have EVER heard it sung…hands down!!

Caleb and Mary Beth are spending their first few days relaxing at the amazing Ross Bridge Resort in Birmingham, and then taking off to NYC!
