I’m a huge fan of Sunday weddings! I think I’ve only shot about 5 or so on a Sunday, and I’ve loved every single one of them! Something about Sundays just seem to be more relaxed, which I love!

Brooke was such a beautiful bride! She got her dress at JCrew, and looked like she stepped right out of the catalog! And I wasn’t the only one who thought that! Sweet Daniel was basically speechless when he saw her walking towards him in the chapel.

I can’t think of a better way to describe the way he was looking at her, other than that he was in awe. He just couldn’t take his eyes off her, and kept making sure that I was getting tons of pictures of Brooke! What a great guy who clearly cares so much for his sweet bride. It’s always fun to see a “tough guy” be sentimental and sweet.

Like I mentioned when I shot their engagement pictures, they just seem to have this comfort with each other. They are one of those couples that I’m not exactly sure how to say it, it just works. They just fit. They are one that I can see being a sweet old couple sittin on their rocking chairs holding hands fifty years down the road! Clearly I am a fan of them

Brooke doesn’t necessarily love to be the center of attention, but on Sunday they deserved every minute of being in the spotlight!

They had a fun bridal party as well! I loved the bridesmaids dresses…which I think they will actually be excited to wear again one day! And the groomsmen were Daniel’s dad and brothers, which made it special having it all family.

Their ceremony was held in the chapel at The American Village in Montevallo. And for those of you who follow my blog, you know this is one of my favorite places to shoot!

The reception was held in the beautiful barn at the top of the hill. It was decorated with christmas lights and white table cloths with yellow and white carnations on the tables. The band was great, and the food was also pretty amazing!

Her dad gave a speech that even made me teary! He talked about how he hadn’t seen anyone look as beautiful since they day Brooke’s mom was walking down the aisle towards him! What a sweet family!

They, like other recent couples, had clever gifts for their guests. Succulents. What a neat idea!

Sweet wedding. Sweet couple. Sweet Sunday.
