I know you’ve seen the preview shot, and slideshow already from the Nicol’s wedding, but here are a few still shots in case you wanted to see more! Shawn and Daniel were my last wedding to shoot for 2009…sad! I can’t believe this year is already over!
Anyway, Despite the rain and freezing weather, I still had a great time with the bridal party taking some pictures! Anyone who knows my work knows that I absolutely cannot handle taking every single photo inside! So..the bridal party were troopers and let me take a few under this breezeway between the church and reception site!

Shawn and Daniel got married at Our Lady of the Valley Catholic Church, and the reception was held at the church as well!

So I guess I should admit something a little embarrassing that happened…this was a first for me. So the dance party was finally getting started, and the GREAT Motown band they had started playing the Cupid Shuffle! I jumped up on the stage so that I could get a better angle of the entire group dancing. So the guests are facing the stage, and then going along with the music, they all faced a different direction to continue the dance. So as I was rushing down the steps to get them from the other side of the dancefloor…..I FELL down the stairs!!! Wow. LUCKILY all the guests were facing a different direction, so when I looked around to see who saw my graceful dive onto my knees, the only person looking at me was the lead singer of the band! He was in the middle of singing the Cupid Shuffle, otherwise I’m almost certain he would have busted out laughing. So….yeah….I fell.

I have to say that this was the first wedding that I have ever photographed a human pyramid! Apparently this is a family tradition with these folks, so I was excited to make it happen for them! So falling and a pyramid…big night for me!

The happy couple topped off the night with a sparkler exit and a getaway in their black limo! One last kiss for the camera before they made their getaway to the Bahamas!
