Shelly and Christian

This good lookin couple is the main reason I traveled to Kentucky last week! I have family and a few friends who live in Bowling Green, so although it may seem crazy to drive that far for engagement pictures, it gives me a good excuse to visit! (So if you’re reading this and wondering if I travel for pictures, the answer is absolutely YES!)

Shelly and Christian are both from Kentucky, and met a little while after they both graduated from Western.  Shelly and I knew each other when we were in the fourth grade, so it was fun to reconnect and meet the sweet man she is going to marry!

These two will be getting married in Shelly’s parent’s backyard at the end of July this year.   Because they are not getting married in a church, we were excited to find this little chapel to be in the background of a few of their engagement pictures!

These two both warned me at the beginning of the day that they were both nervous about having their pictures made….realizing the last time was probably their senior year of high school! I did my best to prove to them that having their picture made could actually be fun, and that we are going to have a GREAT time in the beautiful backyard wedding in July! Can’t wait for that one!
