Stephanie and Wayne are engaged!

I got to spend some time on Sunday afternoon with Stephanie and Wayne at Aldridge Gardens to take some engagement pictures!   They both warned me going into this that they hate having their picture made, and how nervous they were to get these taken! Hopefully I was able to convince and show them that its nothing scary, but fun as long as they are enjoying each other!

I met with Stephanie a few months ago and was excited to get to meet Wayne! They met while they were both students at Alabama, and dated for around three years before they got engaged!

I always like asking the guy the proposal story! For some reason the guys version is always cute! He told me that he took her up to Vulcan, but didn’t know exactly how or when he was going to propose.  He said the lady that worked there told him not to propose at the top of Vulcan because numerous guys had the same idea, but dropped the ring because they were so nervous!! (wow…what a nightmare!) So he said they were just walking around and she wanted to look through the binoculars (thats not what they are called, but for the life of me I can’t come up with what they are!), and when she turned around he was down on one knee!

Their wedding isn’t until August of next year, so I guess I won’t get to see them for a while! Until then, good luck with your planning! Can’t wait to shoot your wedding!
