“We don’t even know where to begin….
I first heard of Ann Wade through my father, who actually lives in Nashville. TN. A good friend of his had great things to say about Ann Wade after using her for his daughter’s wedding. Kyle and I had a very long engagement due to his 15 month deployment to Iraq, so I had plenty of time to ponder about vendors. One day, well before choosing a photographer, while I was waiting for an appointment at local a bridal salon I pondered upon a sample wedding album. Immediately I was mesmerized and wanted the exact wedding because the pictures were so captivating. Soon I remembered I had already had my own vision for my wedding and realized it was the photographs that sold me. I had to get this photographer. I searched the book and whose name do I find as the photographer? Ann Wade! Ironic because I had previously heard of her through my dad. After meeting Ann Wade, I knew she was perfect for us.
Ann Wade was amazing. I imagine that would be a stressful task to manage wedding parties, families, wedding directors, time crunches, unpleasant weather, etc. All of this and still expected to capture amazing moments of the day! Talk about pressure! If anyone can do it, it’s Ann Wade. She was so composed the entire day which made any kinks in the day seem perfectly okay. She knew what shots she wanted but also managed to incorporate whatever we wanted. She was the perfect shadow on our wedding day. Always there with her soothing aura to capture the details, yet not overbearing a bit. So many of our friends in our wedding party made jokes about how opposite she was of other wedding photographers they had dealt with in previous weddings, so clearly her personality was something that resonated well with our dearest friends.
The photos that came back were more than I ever expected. I love candids, and she managed to be at the right place at the right time to capture the highlights of our big day. I don’t know much about photography, but I do know she has raw talent. Kyle and I have had so much trouble picking our favorites to hang in frames around our new home…if it was acceptable, we’d frame all 1000 images! Ann Wade’s work is what we will use to remember our wedding day for the rest of lives. Needless to say, I couldn’t be happier that we chose her as our wedding photographer. I wish her the best of luck because not only is she a wonderful photographer, but she is a wonderful person who deserves all the happiness and success in the world!
