Wilmington, NC

I took a last minute trip to North Carolina last weekend!  It was my first time to visit the cool city of Wilmington, and I loved it! It was supposed to just be a chill weekend, but you know I HAD to take my camera! I at least waited until Sunday afternoon when it was almost time to leave before I went on my photo adventure!

I rarely take pictures without people in them.  It is honestly a challenge for me.  I like faces.  I like being able to have control over the things I am shooing.  I can tell people where to stand so that the lighting is right and the background is exactly what I want.  But with “things,” you just have to make something pretty out of what is already in place.  That is a challenge for me, but one that I enjoy! I realize I don’t make myself do this enough.  I’m gonna try to be better about this!

This pier is supposedly the only concrete pier on North Carolina.  It is located on a beautiful beach in Wilmington.  Right around this pier is where I found the pretty seashells I shared with you on Monday!

This made me want to travel more!! I love going places I have never been!
